Does Size Really Matter?

This could be your first time renting a dumpster or it could be your twentieth.  However, each project will be different, and it will require different sizes. Here at Vega’s Pro Services, we offer a 13-yard, 17-yard, and 21-yard dumpster for your needs as opposed to the typical 10-, 15- and 20-yard sizes. This helps lessen the frustration of choosing a specific size for your project and thinking “what if,” as far as getting a bigger bang for your buck.

13 yard -

This size is going to be the most convenient for your smaller DIY projects. This can include cleaning out a few rooms in your home or maybe getting rid of some yard debris. It will be approximately 5 leveled pick-up truck loads.

17 yard -

You might be thinking, why go for the 17 yard? This is going to be your best option when you’re looking at a bigger project. If you’re looking to do a garage or basement clean out, this is probably your go-to. Think of a 17 yard dumpster as approximately SEVEN leveled pick-up truck loads of debris. That’s a lot of gas and time going back and forth.

21 yard -

Now our 21 yard option would be optimal for a home remodel and/or clean out. This will be equivalent to approximately NINE leveled pick-up truck loads of debris. It’s always best to have more and not need it than to not have enough, in terms of space.

Keep in mind the prohibited items such as: tires, hazardous waste, chemicals, non-dried paint, liquids of any kind, batteries, gas tanks, sealed drums, animal remains, and dirt/rock/concrete. Any appliances with refrigerant must not be put in the dumpster. They can still be taken with a small fee.

No matter your need, talk to us and we will work with YOU and help you figure out what your best options will be. Always keep in mind that our dumpster sizes stay the same between all three in width and length, and the only difference to maximize size will be the height. This makes it even more helpful to make sure we get these dumpsters in small, tight spaces for you.
